This illustration piece is a tribute to the neighborhood where I grew up. "HVD" is the shortened nickname for the neighborhood I grew up in, HARVARD. The tagline reads: "The neighborhood and The People, Not The School" to let everyone know this wasn't the ivy league experience I'm speaking on. It's a reminder and tribute to all of my childhood experiences, the people I went to school with, the people who died and those who made a way for themselves, myself included.
